I do not think I can send the photo as an attachment to this message - if it can be done then it is beyond little old me. I will therefore do a copy and post it to you. I have been to the Square and have viewed No.7. It seems to have been changed (roof line) over the years and there once was a wrought iron fence out the front. I will put some other information for you in the letter I will prepare to send with the photo.

Thank you so much for your wonderful picture and letter. It has sparked a lot of intrigue in our curious little square. I shared it on our resident's Facebook page in an attempt to gather up as much info as I could find for you. What a wonderful trip into the past. Sorry to be a pest but if you could send me your email address again as it was slightly water damaged when it landed on my doorstep. Once I have gathered it I will email all I find. The picture was haunting as over one hundred years later we all still stand at the door with children as they all still play in a square (mine not so much now as 19 and 15!!). There is a new generation of little ones. Probably because back gardens are tiny. The square has still a wonderful sense of community. We were over the moon to see a little bit of the past. Your grandmother's death hit home...I'm a charge nurse in Glasgow Royal Infirmary and have survived a covid 2nd wave. Spanish flu in the early 1900s would've been terrifying.
