Garrison Green is an awful place to live. There are many flats from East Lothian Housing Association and the tenants have no respect for their property, street, or community and I for one wouldn't recommend anyone move there. Since those flats have been built and families have moved in,
I've witnessed glass bottles thrown all over, the police are never away from Garrison Green and as someone who has lived in Dunbar my whole life, these flats shouldn't have been built.
You hear music from the street at night when I pass by on the main street when I'm heading home from work. The tenants are awful because clearly, the landlords (ELHA) cannot control their tenants.

Well, what can I say about Garrison Green? It used to be a lovely area when peoples moved in over three years ago. The tenants were lovely. Sadly, those well-respected and considerate tenants no longer live there.
They've been replaced by people who have wild parties, loud music, shouting out windows, sometimes when I visit my mum, I hear banging from across the other flats. It is now a run-down area of Dunbar,
I've also heard they're planning on building new flats beside these ones, I fear for our town.
I would like to reply to Tania's review of Garrison Green. I have been here from the start of Tenancy in June 2017. It is a nice place to live. Yes, its very daunting, the thought of 27 flats going up. It will be difficult when delivery of groceries when anyone with a car should, come and visit, or the occupiers.
But as I say it's definitely not near as bad as people are making out. Broken bottles have been beside the bins. Not all over the place, as said. yes, I do have to say that cigarettes are all over the place. Outside my door, and they are just dropped out of windows. The police have been in now and again, and you might think it's really bad, but it's been very late at night or the early hours. I am not disputing that, and for some, it has been noisy at times. Yes, some people have left for another property. Yes, there are people here that feel very unsettled at the thought of more flats. There are going to be people with a growing family that want a 3 bedroom house or flat. And are on the mutual exchange.please don't be put off by the negative comments.
I would also like to reply to Jonathan He maintain's that the nice people that moved in to start with are no longer here. And that these people are no longer here. And it wild parties and shouting out of windows. I am not happy at this at all. There are respectable folk still here. What i would say is that there are some vulnerable people in this area as well. We look out for one another, and if there were wild parties, then bear in mind that there would be very strong complaints. I know who would be first in the queue.
