Is Tarbay lane haunted?
Tarbay Lane is very old and is shown on maps of 1875 connecting Bay Farm with Oakley Green Road.
Bay Farm used to be known as Tan Bay Farm or Tar Bay Farm. Thus Tarbay Lane.
I can't find any accounts of hauntings but this site http://www.berkshirehistory.com/legends/ghosts_o.html has a couple of Oakley Green Ghosts.
It mentions an old farmhouse but it isn't clear which one.
Nearby Oakley Court on the Windsor Road was used as a set for many Hammer Horror Films and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
