Beautiful area, very peaceful, hearing the sounds of birds all day, close to nature (right next to Walthamstow Wetland and right opposite Paddock Nature Park) but very close to central London too (couple of minutes walk to Tottenham Hale station or Blackhorse Road station which takes you to central London in 15 minutes). Everyone knows each other and keeps monitoring movement in and out 24/7 - this is a very close-knit community where neighbours are constantly looking out for each other and ensuring that this remains a safe place for residents. Private road, so it has its own security service and neighbourhood watch.

Well maintained by the block management company now in charge; service charge is reasonable considering that they maintain gardens really well, security cameras and tracking systems, bike shelters, disposal areas, window cleaning every week, cleaning the canal, footpaths etc. The flats are built on along a canal, so lots of birds, ducks, swans, squirrels roaming free around the road, hence no fire/smoke permitted and it is very quiet to ensure animal welfare.

Neighbours are very considerate and they take action immediately if someone is out of order. If non-residents enter, they are dealt with swiftly by security who can be called 24/7 and the police, hence the lower crime rate. Love it here and it is much better than other neighbouring streets which unfortunately do not have this level of cooperation between residents.
