I am from Canada but on a trip to England we visited Tinkley Lane. We were told at that time that it was a Roman Road. Do you know anything about that or why it was named Tinkley Lane?

I think it's called Tinkley Lane after Tinkley Farm. The farm has been there since the 1880s and is still there.
