It looks as if Julian Road is a section of the Roman Road, Via Julia, from Seamills , Roman Abonae, NW Bristol to Bath via Bitton ,Swineford, North Stoke, Weston and on via Guinea lane and London Road to
the Fosse Way, but going SW to Bathford and on to Silchester and so to London.
Probably wishful thinking. Was Julian Road there before the current buildings? Did it get its name just because it fits?
